Public Bodies' Approved Conflict of Interest Rules

As of August 20, 2008, all public servants (appointees and employees) who work in a public body must comply with the conflict of interest rules in Ontario Regulation 381/07 under the Public Service of Ontario Act, 2006. In addition, public servants may be covered by the public body’s own conflict of interest rules that, under section 59 of the PSOA, the Commissioner has approved as meeting the minimum standard set by the regulation. Those rules become effective once published on the Commissioner’s website.

Please note that, in some cases, the approved rules apply only to certain public servants who work in the public body. The remaining public servants are governed by the regulation referred to above.

Below is a list of public bodies whose rules the Commissioner has approved, with a link to their respective rules.
